1.  What is your favorite WOD(s) or Skill(s)?

My favorite skill is the push press.  I don’t know why, but it is 🙂  My first ever WOD was the “Murph” and I’m pretty partial to it.

2.  What WOD is at the bottom of your list?

Any WOD with a lot of burpees is definitely a challenge for me.

3.  How would you describe your diet? (Paleo, Primal, Zone, Clean, etc.)

Regarding diet, our household is one that attempts balance and as little processed foods as possible.  We maintain a garden each year, frequent farmers’ markets and orchards, and can or freeze so that we can eat as healthy as possible.  Fresh foods are always an option in our house.

4.  How did you hear about CrossFit Trenches?

I heard about CFT through my good friends, the Corderos.  I was a member of a popular gym and although not unhappy, I was really just going through the motions of the same routine every day.  My goals were not in line with the classes.  Patricio and Rachael assured me that if I tried the CFT, I would love it, and I did.  Attending the CFT classes has provided visible results in the shortest amount of time.  In essence, it is similar to having a personal training session each time, working to one’s personal limit in that one hour and seeing/feeling the results almost immediately.

5.  How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I have been a member of CFT since June 2014.

6.  Describe your biggest milestone, achievement, or “A-ha” moment at CFT?

An example of a recent ‘A-ha’ moment was when I noticed I was performing the snatch correctly.  Usually, I have a trainer working with me to master proper form.  In the last month, I was in the middle of my ‘scarecrow arms’ and noticed that I just did it!  I actually flipped that bar over correctly!  A little achievement for most, but a big moment for me 🙂

7.  What encouragement or advice would you give to new people coming in?

To new people coming into CFT, I would stress that this is an amazing community of people and coaches who will support and challenge you every day.  Whatever your goals, you can meet them.  In fact, not only will you meet your goals,  you will soon find that you are stretching yourself further.
